Following Jesus

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)

At Indian Valley Faith Fellowship we want to help you take real steps in your journey of faith, whether you’re just starting to learn about Jesus or you’ve been part of the church for years. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. There’s simply a friendly place to belong, solid teaching from God’s Word, and opportunities to grow together in faith.

Your next step

Wherever you are right now, here’s a path you can follow. Start at the step that fits you.

Explore who Jesus is

Maybe you’re curious, skeptical, or just starting to wonder about God. That’s a great place to begin. The good news of the Bible is simple: God made us and loves us. We have all turned away from Him, and that sin separates us from God. But Jesus, God’s Son, lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died in our place, and rose again, and everyone who trusts in Him is forgiven and made new.

We’d love to talk with you about any of it, and there’s no question you can’t ask. Talk with a pastor → · What we believe →

Come and belong

The next step is simply showing up. You’ll find a friendly church where people are known by name and welcomed as they are. Sunday mornings include clear Bible teaching, worship, and space for kids.

Belonging takes an investment of time, but it’s worth it. The more you’re here, the more this becomes your church family, and the more you’ll grow in your faith.

It all starts with a visit. We’d love to meet you. Your First Sunday →

Be baptized

When you trust Jesus, baptism is a joyful, public way of saying so: following Him in obedience and identifying with His people.

If you’d like to be baptized, we’d be glad to walk you through it. Talk with Pastor Dean →

Grow in God’s Word

Every Sunday, Pastor Dean preaches through whole books of the Bible, passage by passage, so week by week we hear all of what God says, not just our favorite parts.

Smaller groups help you go deeper and form real friendships. Our Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) groups of 10–12 people meet on Sunday mornings to study the Bible, pray, and share life together, and there are regular Bible studies for men, women, young adults, and youth. Children’s ministries run alongside so the whole family can grow.

Serve and care for others

As you get connected, there are natural ways to use your gifts and care for people inside and outside the church. Serving alongside others builds relationships and lets you be part of what God is doing.

A few places to start: helping with children in the nursery, children’s church or Kids Club; leading or helping with youth; playing an instrument for worship; setting up chairs and helping with events; caring for people through meals, visits and cards; lending your experience on a church committee, such as finance, facilities or missions; and pitching in on church work days.

Share the hope you have

Part of following Jesus is learning to talk about Him with the people in your life. We want to help you grow in confidence and love so sharing Christ feels natural rather than forced. It happens in conversations, friendships, and ordinary life, and in praying for the people around you.

Programs like the Bridge Course give you a chance to learn and practice alongside others. Inviting a friend to church on Sunday is a great first step, too.
