Privacy Policy

Indian Valley Faith Fellowship (“IVFF,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Information we collect

On this website. You can browse this site without creating an account, and the site itself has no sign-up or contact forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit) in server logs, which are used only to keep the site secure and working properly.

When you contact us. If you email or call the church office or a staff member, we use the information you share only to respond to you and care for you.

Church family information. Contact details you give the church office (such as your name, email address and mobile number) are kept in Elvanto, our church management system, and are used to communicate with you about church life by email and text message. Elvanto also stores your communication preferences, including how you prefer to receive volunteer reminders and any opt-outs.

Email

  • What we send: General church news and information, reminders about events, and volunteer reminders.
  • How often: Typically several emails per week.
  • Who sends them: Emails to our broader mailing list are sent through Mailchimp. More targeted emails to smaller groups, such as ministry teams and volunteer reminders, are sent directly from Elvanto.
  • Unsubscribing: Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can ask the church office to update your preferences. Opt-outs are recorded in Elvanto so that we honor them across our communications.

We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Text messages (SMS)

  • How you join: We only send text messages to people who have given their mobile number to the church office and agreed, in person, to receive texts from IVFF.
  • What we send: Urgent updates, such as weather closings and schedule changes, reminders about church events, and volunteer reminders. Volunteer reminders are sent by text or email, based on the preference you have given us.
  • How often: Message frequency varies, typically a few messages per month.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Opting out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You can also ask the church office to remove your number.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact the church office at ivffoffice [at] ivfaithfellowship [dot] org or 215-256-6200.
  • Who sends them: Our texts are sent through Elvanto, which uses Twilio to deliver messages. Elvanto keeps track of opt-outs so that you will not receive further texts after replying STOP.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text messaging opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers (Elvanto and Twilio) that deliver our messages on our behalf. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to communicate with you, respond to your questions and prayer requests, share news and reminders about church life, and keep this website running. We never sell personal information.

Services from other organizations

Some features of this site are provided by other organizations, which may collect information under their own privacy policies:

Embedded videos and maps may set cookies from those services when you view them.
